Parents’ Misconceptions on When Antibiotics Should be Used
Yahoo News, in conjunction with Consumer Reports, highlighted a study on when parents believed their child needed antibiotics. In the sample of 400 Australian parents, 55% of parents thought antibiotics could cure a cough, 70% believed they could cure a sore throat and 92% believed they would cure an ear infection.
