Quality Reporting: Now and Under the New Rules, AAAAI Has You Covered
The AAAAI Quality Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) is now open and ready for you to use for 2016 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) reporting. You can also utilize your registry participation to satisfy the practice improvement requirement of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology's (ABAI) MOC program.
By downloading performance reports from the QCDR, implementing a personalized improvement plan based on the data, and submitting a follow-up performance report from the QCDR, registry users will complete a performance improvement module, earning 20 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™ for physicians and meeting the MOC requirement. Click here for more information.
Starting in 2017, under proposed rules for the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), the QCDR will cover the three categories that require you to participate in reporting activities, while the fourth category is completed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) based on your claims filed.
So for 2016, the QCDR allows you to complete PQRS reporting and satisfy certain MOC requirements. In 2017, the QCDR provides the tools you need to meet new reporting requirements.
Save the Date
The AAAAI will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, August 24 at 8 pm Eastern time (7 pm Central time) to review the QCDR, how it fulfills these requirements, and what you need to do to get connected. More information will be emailed to you next week.
