AAAAI Participates in Get Smart About Antibiotics Week

For the second year, the AAAAI participated in Get Smart About Antibiotics Week organized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It is an annual event held in November to raise awareness of antibiotic resistant bacteria and the importance of appropriate antibiotic prescribing and use. The AAAAI participated in the CDC’s Twitter chat and offered information on penicillin allergy testing and how it can reduce the prevalence of antibiotic resistance.
