Check Out the New, Interactive Course on Allergen Immunotherapy

The AAAAI has developed another free online course on allergen immunotherapy (AIT).This interactive course introduces learners to a virtual patient who is seeking relief from ongoing allergy symptoms and is considering AIT. The learner will diagnose the patient, discuss treatment options and prescribe an appropriate treatment, and adjust dosing and schedule as needed over the course of two years. 

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Diagnose a patient and provide details of appropriate immunotherapy options
• Write an immunotherapy prescription with therapeutic doses based on appropriate skin and/or serologic testing for specific allergy symptoms
• Identify the major risk factors for systemic reactions to immunotherapy
• Determine when to adjust immunotherapy doses and intervals
