AAAAI Launches Advocacy Webpage

The AAAAI is pleased to announce that it now has a dedicated place to communicate with members about efforts to strengthen the specialty’s voice in Washington.

The new advocacy webpage on the AAAAI website will update members on AAAAI advocacy efforts in the field of allergy/immunology, and policies that will benefit AAAAI constituency groups and patients with allergies, asthma and immune deficiency disorders. It also provides important information and resources, and will soon include more on how members can get involved in these efforts.

Visit the AAAAI advocacy webpage for several updates, including how a letter signed by a group of prominent U.S. Senators has provided a significant boost to the AAAAI’s push for a multi-agency initiative of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to examine the cost-effectiveness of allergy immunotherapy and methods to promote broader utilization.
