Call for AAAAI At-Large Director Candidate Nominations

One of the benefits of membership in the AAAAI is the opportunity to vote on and select the individuals who help direct our organization, the officers and directors of the Board. The Nominating Committee has recently made significant changes to the process by which candidates are selected. All eligible Fellows of the AAAAI will now have the opportunity to self-nominate or nominate another individual for at-large director positions.

As the review process will soon begin, consider nominating yourself or another AAAAI Fellow. As a consideration, some of the criteria for those considering putting forth a nomination for a potential Board member includes:

• Must be AAAAI Fellow (FAAAAI) in good standing. NOTE: Emeritus and Honorary Fellows are not eligible.
• Effective prior involvement within the AAAAI (committees, workgroups, task forces) or other specialty related groups
• Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and to focus on strategic direction for AAAAI
• Ability to think independently and work effectively in a collective decision-making body
• Integrity of action in business, association and personal activity
