In Memory of Laila Alidina, MD, FAAAAI

The AAAAI was saddened to learn that Laila Alidina, MD, FAAAAI, passed away on November 6. Dr. Alidina had been an AAAAI member since 1981 and a Fellow since 1986.

An allergist/immunologist at Allergy Asthma Specialists of Central Florida, Dr. Alidina served as a local chairperson for the American Lung Association. She was also a member of the Florida Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society.

Dr. Alidina was active in the community to increase awareness about allergies and asthma and made health presentations to local schools. Her aim was to have her allergy patients live life as normally as possible and live symptom free. She will be missed.
