Thank You to Donald Aaronson and Gary Gross
It was recently announced that Donald W. Aaronson, MD, FAAAAI, FACAAI, and Gary N. Gross, MD, FAAAAI, FACAAI, would be stepping down from the positions they have held with the Advocacy Council of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI).
The AAAAI would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Aaronson and Dr. Gross for the significant contributions to the specialty they have made over many years. In a testament to how widely respected they are among their peers, Dr. Aaronson and Dr. Gross have helped build strong relationships with other representatives of medicine and have been a very effective team on behalf of the specialty. Especially noteworthy is the involvement both have had with the Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) of the American Medical Association (AMA), as well as Dr. Aaronson’s involvement with the Subspecialty Advisory Group on Socioeconomic Affairs (SAGSA) of the American College of Physicians (ACP).
As Dr. Aaronson and Dr. Gross begin this new chapter, the AAAAI wishes them the very best in their future endeavors. We also look forward to working with James L. Sublett, MD, FAAAAI, FACAAI, who recently joined the ACAAI’s Advocacy Council as the Executive Director of Advocacy and Governmental Affairs.
