Come to the Annual Meeting Early for More Educational Opportunities

You are invited to attend a new hands-on course covering the science and practicalities of using infusion therapies in the allergy/immunology practice or the Basic Aerobiology course at the Georgia World Congress Center on Thursday, March 2.

Attendees will learn about the mechanisms of action and newly FDA approved biologics before having the opportunity to perfect their infusion technique, including device selection and catheter insertion. This course will also address how to plan for and incorporate infusion therapies into the allergy/immunology practice with discussion of administrative challenges and patient communication needs.

Attendees can earn up to 6.5 CME/CE credits. The cost is $50 for physicians and $25 for eligible allied health professionals and fellows-in-training. Breakfast and lunch are included.

The Basic Aerobiology course at the 2017 Annual Meeting will now be a stand-alone one day program on Thursday, March 2 with a separate registration fee. Basic pollen identification will be reviewed in the morning and the afternoon session will be on basic fungal spore identification.

This course, which serves as a prerequisite to the National Allergy Bureau (NAB) certification exam, provides skills in identifying airborne pollen grain and fungal spores–the hallmark of our specialty. Attending these programs will benefit the station counters and physicians who treat patients with pollen and mold allergies.
