A Message from the JCAAI President: Sign Up for Part II of the JCAAI ICD-10 Webinar
The Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (JCAAI) will be sponsoring another webinar on ICD-10. Over 600 allergists participated in Part I of the webinar. ICD-10 will be required for all billing on October 1, 2014. Part II will cover ICD-10-CM: Specifics for the Allergy and Immunology Practice.

- Comparison of top 50 Allergy/Immunology codes used in ICD-9, with translation into ICD-10
- Discussion of interpretation of notes in the codebook as well as general guidelines (current copy of ICD-10 recommended for viewing)
- Review of specific chapter guidelines for A/I and co-morbidities
- Practical examples for our specialty
- Question and answer period
The Learning objectives for the ICD-10 Part II webinar include: 1) Implement and utilize ICD-10-CM in the practice of Allergy and Immunology Medicine; 2) Identify specific rules and guidelines in ICD-10-CM specific to the practice of Allergy and Immunology and other specialties which patients have co-morbidities; 3) Implement ICD-10-CM into practice using the general and chapter specific guidelines for coding for Allergy and Immunology; and 4) Recognize and assist practitioners with ICD-10 related questions.

- Select the webinars you would like to purchase and attend.
- Click the red “Add to cart.”
