Food Allergy Course to Follow 2016 Annual Meeting
Stay in Los Angeles for an extra day to take advantage of the International Network for Diet and Nutrition in Allergy (INDANA) food allergy course. Space is limited to only 80 attendees.
Immediately after the 2016 AAAAI Annual Meeting, the International Network for Diet and Nutrition in Allergy (INDANA) in collaboration with AAAAI will be hosting a full-day live course. Titled “Food Allergy: The Spectrum of Disease, its Diagnosis and Management,” it will take place at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 8 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
“Food Allergy: The Spectrum of Disease, its Diagnosis and Management” will begin with lectures on the spectrum of food allergic disease, the principles of nutrition and dietary management, the role of the diet history, and early life nutrition and allergy prevention. In the afternoon, participants will engage in four different problem-based learning workshops to provide more in-depth exposure to common nutritional issues in food allergy management.
This full-day format will provide opportunities to connect with other dietitians, physicians, and nurses to review the latest nutrition-related research, share resources and network.
The course is approved for 6.75 continuing education credits for nurses and physicians and credit approval is pending for dietitians. Visit education.aaaai.org/INDANA2016 to learn more and register. Registration is $75 and travel stipends are available to eligible dietitian participants.
This course is funded by an educational grant from Nutricia North America.
