Last Call for 2017 Honorary Award Nominations
The AAAAI Honorary Awards is a special awards program established by the AAAAI in 1947 when the first Honorary Fellow Award was presented. An award may be given in each of these eight categories every year: Allied Health Recognition Award, Distinguished Clinician Award, Distinguished Layperson Award, Distinguished Service Award, Distinguished Scientist Award, Mentorship Award, Outstanding Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award, RSLAAIS Leadership Award and Special Recognition Award. The recipients of these awards will be honored at the 2017 Annual Meeting.
The nomination form must be submitted with a copy of the nominee's curriculum vitae and a letter of nomination from the sponsoring individual as well as letters of recommendation from two additional references. The letter of nomination should clearly detail the candidate's important contributions to the field of allergy and immunology. All documents must be received in the AAAAI office no later than January 15, 2016.
Selection of the award recipients will be made by the Annual Meeting Awards Subcommittee and approved by the AAAAI Board of Directors. The awardees will be notified in July.
