Live Courses Improve Care for Severe Asthma, Allergic Skin Conditions

Severe Asthma Live Course

Allergist/immunologists can participate in a live CME course directly following the 2015 AAAAI Practice Management Workshop in Denver. The complimentary course, “Severe Asthma: Clinical Communication to Improve Control,” will be on Sunday, July 19 from 1 to 4:30 pm.

Attendees will learn how to appropriately apply diagnostic and therapeutic options to patients with severe asthma; identify evidence of patient non-adherence and factors that contribute to non-adherence; and apply effective education and patient communication skills to improve asthma control.

Allergic Skin Conditions & Patch Testing Live Course

The AAAAI will offer "Allergic Contact Dermatitis and Eczema in the Allergy Practice" in Arlington, VA on September 12 and 13, 2015. The 1-1/2 day course includes updates on contact dermatitis and other eczemas from leading allergist/immunologists and dermatologists, as well as hands-on skills training on the administration of patch testing and the interpretation of test results.

The course offers up to 11.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CME CreditsTM for physicians and the same number of contact hours for nurses. Attendance is limited so visit the AAAAI Education Center and sign up soon!
