The AAAAI is pleased to announce the application process is now open for several research awards.
2017 ALA/AAAAI Allergic Respiratory Diseases Award
This award is a joint effort between the American Lung Association (ALA) and the AAAAI to encourage and support research on advancing the understanding of allergic respiratory diseases. The award provides $75,000 per year. Award recipients will be selected by a review panel composed of ALA and AAAAI representatives.
The deadline for submission is December 16, 2016. A letter of intent is not required for the award. To access more details about the award click here.

2017 AAAAI/Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Third-Year Fellowship Food Allergy Research Award at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
The objective of this award is to support the development of an academic food allergy research career of a third or fourth year allergy/immunology or gastroenterology fellow-in-training (FIT) at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Funding is to support education and research endeavors in food allergy. This one year award that provides $65,000 for salary and lab expenses. Applicants must conduct their research at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

AAAAI/TMS Research Award in Mast Cells Disorders including Mastocytosis and/or Mast Cell Activation Syndrome
This award supports research that will advance the understanding of mast cell disorders including Mastocytosis and/or Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. This one-year award that provides $60,000 for salary and lab expenses.

American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders (APFED) HOPE Pilot Grant
APFED’s 2017 HOPE Pilot Grant Award is now accepting applications. The $100,000 two-year grant was established to allow investigators to initiate new projects relevant to eosinophil-associated disease. Successful applications will focus on the development of new ideas which are likely to lead to future external funding. Interested applicants are invited to submit a letter of intent by October 28, 2016, and the final application must be submitted by November 30.
