2014 Annual Meeting Scholarship Travel Awards Available to Allied Health Members

If you are an AAAAI allied health member, apply for scholarship travel awards worth up to $750 to help with the expense of attending the Annual Meeting. As many as eight awards will be given by the AAAAI’s Allied Health Professionals Assembly.

These include complimentary registration to the 2014 Annual Meeting, where you can network with colleagues and attend scientific sessions, including ones targeted specifically to allied health professionals.

A major part of the award application is submission of a description of an interesting allergic, asthmatic, respiratory or immunologic case or program. Topics could include an educational program (in house or community-based), a practice enhancement or a clinical treatment situation. It’s very important that the description have 650 words or less and demonstrate how the allied health professional increased the quality of care that they and their practice provide to patients.

Awardees will be recognized at the 2014 AAAAI Annual Meeting during the Allied Health Forum Lunch. The award recipients will also be required to present a brief synopsis of their submission, including outcomes, during a special allied health session held immediately following the Forum Lunch on Saturday, March 1.
