AAAAI members are strongly encouraged to attend the free Allergy Coding and Compliance Best Practices Webinar given by the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (JCAAI). This webinar offers CME and MOC credit for participants and is scheduled for September 10, 2013, from 8:00 to 10:00 pm EDT.

JCAAI Executive Director Donald Aaronson, MD, FAAAAI, and Executive Vice President Gary N. Gross, MD, FAAAAI, will cover critical topics for the practicing allergist, including:

• New allergy CPT codes
• How to survive a recovery audit
• Guidelines for percutaneous testing (inhalants, drugs/biologics, venoms) and ingestion challenges
• Member reimbursement issues including modifier -25 and "incident-to" billing
• Proper documentation of medical necessity
• Successful handling of recovery audit contractors (RACs)
• Update on how to address remote practice issues
• Vial preparation regulations

There will also be a Q&A session after the presentation.

Registration is limited to the first 1,000 people for this live webinar. AAAAI members can register at the AAAAI Continuing Education Center and will need to complete a pre-test and pre-evaluation.
